Lindsay Forbes Brown is a writer from Richmond, Virginia. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing from American University, where she taught creative writing and served as Editor-in-Chief of FOLIO and Managing Editor of Grace & Gravity, a journal dedicated to uplifting women's voices in the DMV area.

She is an alumna of the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, Sewanee Writers' Conference, Community of Writers, Kenyon Review Writers' Workshop, and Juniper Summer Writing Institute, and has received support from the NES Artist Residency.

Her work has been twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize and appears or is forthcoming in Barcelona Review, Cimarron Review, Gargoyle, Hobart, Image, J Journal, JMWW, North American Review, Off-Chance, Pembroke Magazine, River Styx, So to Speak, and Sonora Review. She is represented by Noelle Falcis Math and Laura Cameron at Transatlantic Agency.
